The Loire Valley is a well known and very pleasant area of France :
The Kings of France enjoyed this region.
Come to the Loire valley, here :
- you can enjoy very good French wines
- you can eat some delicious French specialities.
- you can visit some of the most famous castles of the Kings of France.
- you can walk in beautiful gardens.
- You can admire the Loire, the last big wild European river.
- You can practise a lot of sport activities ( horse riding, golf,
climbing...).
The climate : It is mild, averaging
10ºC (50ºF) in winter, 17ºC (63ºF) in spring and autumn
and 24ºC (75ºF) throughout the long summers. 
When you are in Saumur, Paris is about 3 hours away by car (motorway)  or 2 hours by train (TGV).
